During 2005 we offered free customized alley signs to any NHHA Member who:
- paid their dues in full by June 30, 2005;
- lives on an alley (about 10% of us live with a creek in the backyard)
Some people have non-wooden fences (brick, stone, even chain link) and we happily made the sign, but left it up to you to install it!
If you've ever driven one of our back alleys and tried to find a specific house number, you'll understand the problem. Many houses are nearly impossible to find! Add the problem that many older signs simply have a number ("7575") and not an associated name (the alley fits between two streets) .. well, you get the idea.

The last batch of the free signs was installed in late November 2005, as part of an Eagle Scout project. Thanks to Adam Carlton (one of Mark & Lynn's sons) for organizing the crews!
Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and the free sign promotion has ended. However, signs are still available on a mail-order basis (see below).
