Rebel Webster

President
Area 2 214-866-0155

For Rebel Webster and husband Michael Webb, the best part of moving to Northwood Hills in ‘05 was buying a home in need of a new landscape. To fund her gardening habit, Rebel is a public relations/marketing consultant. She attended Dallas private schools and graduated from SMU. She has worked with the Dallas Arboretum and the Dallas Historic Tree Coalition, and looks forward to heading Beautification efforts for NHHA.

Transplanted from Missouri by way of Corpus Christi, Michael is a legal marketing executive and gourmet cook (giving Rebel more time to “dig in the dirt.”) They have one delightful daughter and three very spoiled dogs.

The family attends Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Aaron Dyer

Director
Area 1 972-404-0678

Aaron Dyer will fill a critical role with NHHA by working on our important communication tool – the website. A classical pianist, Aaron makes his living in technology as a database and application developer.  He worked for Software Spectrum in Garland, then was COO for a Plano investment firm, and has since worked as a free-lance technology consultant.

Aaron is actually a long-time resident of Northwood Hills, growing up in a house on Mossvine from 1968 – 1978. Aaron and his wife Alice will soon celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.  When they first married they lived on Lovers Lane. Just before their son Nathan was born, they moved to Garland and lived there until August 1995.  They needed a larger house and at the time Alice's sister lived in Northwood Hills (on Oakbluff).  The Dyers found the right place on Overview Circle and have loved their home and Northwood Hills for the past 12 years…going on 13!

Aaron attended sixth grade at Northwood Hills Elementary, then Northwood Junior High (still under construction at the time!), and then was a Richardson Eagle.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Music degrees from SMU. Aaron and Alice are members of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Richardson (Belt Line at St. Luke).

“I had a great childhood in Northwood Hills,” says Aaron. “I can’t wait to help the neighborhood.”

David Abell

Director
Area 3 972-403-7728

During a 19-year career with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), David Abell has held various sales and leadership positions. He brings that experience to NHHA along with strategic planning and financial expertise. He is very interested in using new ideas to build our membership -- and thus the services we provide to members -- and as a solutions expert he can help us explore new strategies for non-dues fundraising.

David and his family -- wife Julie, daughter Gracie and loveable Wheaton terrier, Savannah -- moved into the neighborhood in June 2007, relocating from Plano. They attend St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1988 with a BBA in Finance/Real Estate and earned his executive MBA from Baylor University in 2003.

Currently he and Gracie serve in the Plano YMCA Princess Longhouse, therefore spending 6 – 10 weekends a year leading Y campouts. David’s other interests include wine, home audio/video and the outdoors, including the wonderful backyards that exist in Northwood Hills.

“It’s so important to continue the momentum that’s been created by the current and past Boards,” says David. “I’m ready to jump in and help.”

Judy Switzer

Director
Area 4 972-233-3375

Judy Switzer and her husband, Bruce, have lived in Northwood Hills since 1990. She is a real estate broker with Keller Williams Realty and a 1978 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a degree in Business Administration.

Judy and Bruce's kids attended Northwood Hills Elementary. Brett is in Honors Accounting at the University of Georgia, and Jillian will graduate from The Hockaday School in June 2007, and looks forward to attending college.

Clark Dunklin

Director
At Large 972-239-1266

Clark Dunklin is a Dallas native and USAF Veteran. His wife, Sandy, and he have five children and two grandchildren. They moved to Northwood Hills two years ago.

After working in the out-of-home industry for major companies and managing many employees and $30MM budgets for twenty years, Clark started his own advertising business five years ago. His companies, Texas Bulletins and Big Media, offer billboards throughout north Texas, Supergraphic Wallscapes in Downtown Dallas, advertising on the McKinney Avenue Trolleys, Victory Park displays, and advertising in various minor league baseball parks throughout the state.

Clark’s background in business is important as NHHA reaches out to advertisers and sponsors for additional revenue, and his budgeting experience will be valuable as we work to hold costs and provide maximum value to our members. But he also contributes a valuable familiarity in HOA matters, having been active in the Royal Highlands HOA.

“I office out of our home, and we initially were attracted to Northwood Hills because of its excellent location,” says Clark. “However, since moving here and meeting so many nice neighbors, we realize Northwood Hills is more than just a centrally-located neighborhood. It’s a wonderful place for our family to enjoy, and I would be sincerely proud to serve on the NHHA Board and help Northwood Hills continue to be a truly great neighborhood.”

Bob Nance

Director & Treasurer
At Large 972-387-1228

Bob Nance has been involved in residential real estate since 1984 as an investor, contractor, builder and property manager of single family and multi family properties. He has a good knowledge base of construction and city codes as they relate to residential housing.

Nance also brings to NHHA a strong background in non-profit management, including expertise in financial management and newsletter communications. Bob is the founder and past president of AIREO, Inc., a trade association for real estate investors in DFW that is still thriving today. Stepping down after 20 years of leadership in AIREO, Bob is ready to devote his skills and talents to NHHA in the important area of code compliance.

Bob and his wife of 17 years, Heather Goodstein, have two girls ages 9 and 13, and Bob has a 26-year-old son. Bob was born and raised in East Dallas where Heather and he lived until moving to North Dallas in 2004. They moved to Northwood Hills in November of 2006.

“We love the trees in this area of town as well as the large lots,” says Bob. “I look forward to using my knowledge and skills to help maintain and improve the Northwood Hills HOA.”
