The Fourth Wednesday Luncheon Group was formed in 1979, so neighbors would be able to meet once a month in a neighbors home and share food and friendship. It has helped new neighbors to meet and has been a positive force with crime prevention, and neighborhood activities.
Everyone in Northwood Hills west of Hillcrest are invited to join. The only requirements are to pay $10 and host or co-host a luncheon once a year. The hostesses choose to cater or cook for the luncheon. There are two couples parties (February and September). There are no luncheon meetings during June, July, and August.
