A large number of questions we get here deal with Dallas City Services, available by dialing 311 or going online to 311.DallasCityHall.com. Sometimes it's just easier to look at the (long) list of services, so you'll know what's available. So .. we've placed a 13-page document online which contains the stuff from the city's website. Look for "Dallas 311 Guide" on our NHHA Resources page.

I've had an RSS channel on this website for several years, originally designed to work with MyNetscape. Now, with many people using RSS aggregators to track updates on blogs and websites, it does double duty. That's what the
button on the home page is all about. If your software looks for it, it'll just automagically work.
We have a more detailed explanation of the Northwood Hills RSS feed, if you want it.

We don't spam here at northwoodhills.org (see our privacy policy) .. but we know that a lot of you do get lots of unsolicited commercial email (aka spam). The definitive guide to dealing with this stuff is the Spam FAQ at Ohio State University.
April 2000
Just a reminder that you can glance at our "Northwood Hills: A to Z" page to see what's been updated recently. We've placed an "A-Z" button on every page, to make accessing it that much easier. We'll do our best to date-stamp every page on our website (see the upper left corner of every page).
November 1999
I brought the survey tool online. While we don't have an immediate (controversial) need to poll the membership, we now have the ability to do so if that becomes necessary.
September 1999
Several people said they'd like it better if we'd switch to the (trendy?) non-underlined links that you see on many websites, instead of the underlined links. So, these are now turned on (look for the autumn bold text). Those of you with browsers that support Cascading Style Sheets will see the change; others won't see a change.
We've rated this web site with RSACi (Recreational Software Advisorty Council on the Internet), so you'll know everyone here is rated "G" for all family members.
April 1999
We hope you like the new look of the website (as of April 1999). This is the work of Gene Saunders (an association member) with a lot of help from Softquad's HotMetaL Pro software.
Gene would personally like to thank Tanner Murrey (Cris Murrey's son) for all his hard work putting the website online in 1998. Without Tanner's dedication and long hours, this site would be a far less useful place on the web.
Do you have a neighborhood photo that you'd like to share? If so, email your photo to the webmaster, and he'll consider using it on the website.
